How can you as the designer use principles of design to help compose a page? 
A: You can use them as guild lines for creating your designs. 
What are the principles of design (define each in your own words)?
A: Contrast=how much an object stands out from another. Repetition=repeating. Alignment= the way an object is lined up. Proportion= difference in sizing.
For each of the 4 principles of C.R.A.P., find an example that utilizes the principle within the design. You should have 4 DIFFERENT sample designs. For each, discuss how the particular principle is used.

In this picture the contrast between white and black makes the picture stand out.

Repetition: The repetition of the kleenex boxes makes it the focus of the design.

The alignment of the planets shows a straight line.

The proximity of the black blobs forms a dog.

A: The key is to use negative space to create contrast.

A: Color choices, position of elements, and text selection.

A: Reusing the same element throughout a design.

A: There will be more unity.

Highlight: I really liked how the bottom left Marilyn Monroe has different colored clothes

A: Colors can help set the mood in a composition or help the audience find the main foal point.Why is the color wheel an important tool for graphic designers?
A: The color wheel shows relationships between colors and help to create color schemes.

A: When light hits an object, objects absorb certain colors in the white light and reflects other colors making them to appear a certain color.
