Icons & Symbols Assignment
The first symbols represents when an electronic is low on battery. This is a creative way to show a phone or computer has low battery. The second one is a moon with the stars. This symbol represents the night with a crescent moon. The last one is one that represents that you have mail in your mailbox. This would be used in a situation where you have mail in your mailbox and the mailman can just hang this on your mailbox to show that there is mail.

Geometric Self Portrait

This is my geometric self portrait. Using many tools from Illustrator and a picture of myself, I created this. Some of the tools I used are the selection tool, pen tool, blob tool and many others. To start it off, I took a picture of myself using the photo booth on the provided computer. Then, I put it on Illustrator and used the Blob tool to trace it. Furthermore, I created a monochromatic color scheme of brown and pink. Then I used the pen tool to trace the sketches I made earlier. I filled in the shapes I made with the pen tool and made sure to make the skin contrast. The hardest part of this project was making the tones of my face contrast because I didn't want to make my skin too dark or too light. Overall, I thought this project was very fun and challenging. I am very excited for future projects. :)

Assignment #3 Fantasy Creature

The story that my picture is telling is about a gigantic cat. Contrary to its gigantic size, this kitten is caring, loving and absolutely adorable. This adorable kitten's name is Cream because of its milky colored fur. In the distance is... DISNEYLAND! I added Cinderella's castle to my picture because I wanted to add the cute figure on the top of the castle, MICKEY MOUSE! My favorite parts of this assignment are the angelic kitten, the Disney castle and the distant Mickey Mouse. My least favorite part of my picture was how the buildings were not the same shade. If I had more time to change my picture I would make the buildings the same shade and I would blur the sides of the kitten more. Overall, I really liked this project because I tried out new tools and understand Photoshop A LOT better. :)
